Messages on Black Ops
I approach playing Black Ops a bit different to how I play other multiplayer. In all other games, I’m out to have a fun time and I would prefer if everyone has a fun time rather than just the winning team. Losing a closely fought match can be as fun as winning one at times. In Call of Duty, I assume everyone else in the game is deserving of as much mercy as your average genocidal dictator.

Change in plans
Due to the horrors of porting code, I will definitely be getting some help with bringing my Robot Shootans code over to XNA and getting it all nice and ready to be released onto the xbox 360. I am considering just deleting large portions of code and recoding large chunks from the ground up. I hacked together a real mess in there and now it needs fixing.

The horror of porting code
I’ve been moving my entire game (Robot Shootans) over from C++ using SDL onto C# using XNA. This has proved a msssive ball-ache as XNA works a little different to my framework and made porting some of my code a little tough. I think I’ve almost got it though.
Now all that is left is to finish the phase I prefer to call Bug Hunting over Debugging. It makes it sound way more awesome...

Programming rant ahead
I’ve been reading through articles about various stuff today while learning how to do certain things I had no knowledge of. While looking at the code examples given, I saw a lot of Hungarian notation. Wondering why the people would do that, I looked into Hungarian a little more.
Now, I know that anyone using systems Hungarian notation in a language that type checks is not doing it right....
